We didn't start by building software.

We started by delivering care.

ReiSpace grew from years of working inside mental-health systems and seeing the same problem from different angles. People wanted support. Organizations were investing in support. Practitioners wanted to provide good care. And yet people were still getting lost between the pieces.

From care delivery to infrastructure

The story behind ReiSpace began through the founders' work in mental health, education, organizational consulting, and community development. Through ReiDefine Wellness and related work, Latoya and Alric Reid built and worked within mental-health and organizational systems across multiple Canadian provinces.

Again and again, they encountered barriers that could not be solved by simply adding another therapy appointment: trust, navigation, provider fit, language and cultural responsiveness, continuity, and coordination. The deeper problem was infrastructure. ReiSpace was created to address it.

A dedicated technology company

ReiSpace was initially incubated and developed within the established ReiDefine ecosystem. In 2026, ReiSpace Technologies Inc. was incorporated as a dedicated technology company to support the product's commercialization, research, technology development, and long-term scale.

That distinction reflects where ReiSpace is going while remaining connected to the real-world experience from which it emerged.

Founder and Chief Executive Officer

Latoya Reid is the Founder and CEO of ReiSpace Technologies Inc., a clinician, entrepreneur, researcher, and mental-health systems leader with more than a decade of experience across healthcare, clinical practice, organizational consulting, education, and community systems change.

Before ReiSpace, Latoya founded and grew ReiDefine Wellness into a multi-provincial mental-health organization. Years of working directly with individuals, families, clinicians, and organizations revealed a recurring challenge: mental-health support may exist, but people still struggle to know where to start, find care they trust, connect with the right provider, and maintain continuity throughout their care journey.

Today, Latoya leads ReiSpace's vision and the translation of frontline mental-health experience into technology that helps organizations better connect their people to trusted, culturally responsive care. She holds a Master of Social Work and Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Regina and an Honours Diploma in Education.

Designed from the margins. Built for everyone.

Our work with Black, Indigenous, racialized, immigrant, multilingual, and other underserved communities has helped us understand how trust, identity, culture, language, and lived experience can shape access to mental-health support.

Those insights are not the boundary of ReiSpace's market. They are part of our design advantage. We are using what we have learned to build mental-health infrastructure that works better for today's workforce.

What we believe

Beyond Access

Access without navigation is not enough.

Fit Over Availability

A provider is not the right provider simply because they are available.

Technology, Not Replacement

Technology should support human care, not replace it.

Privacy Is Trust

Privacy is part of trust.

Care Beyond the Session

Mental healthcare should not end when the session does.

Infrastructure Drives Outcomes

Better outcomes require better infrastructure around the people providing and receiving care.
